Edward Mangano (center), Nassau County Executive, receives autographed photos from George Barris (right), of Barris Kustom Productions at New York Custom Coach in Queens on Friday, July 30. Barris designs and builds custom cars for movie productions among other things, and is in New York this week for the filming of "Arthur" and promotion of the Hollywood Star Car Show at the Cradle of Aviation Museum, which will occur on August 28-29.

Mangano came to the shop not only to see the famous cars, but also to speak with Mike Manning (left), a George Barris East Coast Representative, about the possibility of building a car museum on Museum Row in Garden City.
