Is there a recall on your vehicle?

Does your vehicle have a defect? Several major automobile manufacturers have issued recalls in 2018 that drivers are recommended to have fixed. Here's a list of major recalls from this year.

Jeep

Month of recall: May 2018
Number of cars recalled: 325,000.
Models recalled: 2004-2007 Jeep Liberty
Reason for recall: Suspension problem could lead to water getting into the vehicle's rear lower control arms, causing the parts to rust or crack.

Audi

Date of recall: April 2018
Number of vehicles recalled: Around 1.2 million
Models recalled: 2013-2016 A4, 2013-2017 A5, 2012-2015 A6, 2013-2017 Q5 SUV, all with 2-Liter turbocharged engines.
Reason for recall: Electric coolant pumps can overheat and possibly cause a fire.

Tesla

Models recalled: 2012-2016 Tesla Model S
Reason for recall: Corroding bolt could lead to loss of power steering.

Mercedes-Benz

Models recalled: Certain 2017-2019 GLC43 AMG, 2016-2019 GLC300 4matic, 2016-2018 GLC300, 2018 GLC63 AMG 4matic, 2018-2019 GLC350e 4matic vehicles
Reason for recall: Seat belt latch plates may retract into paneling, preventing their use.

Ford/Lincoln

Number of cars recalled: Around 1.3 million
Models recalled: 2014-2018 Ford Fusions, Lincoln MKZ sedans
Reason for recall: Steering-wheel bolt may not maintain torque, allowing the bolt to loosen over time.

Mitsubishi

Number of vehicles recalled: Approximately 158,600
Models recalled: 2011-16 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SUVs
Reason for recall: Water may enter between the hood and windshield, causing corrosion of a ball joint that could lead to the wipers becoming inoperative.

Models recalled: 2018 Sequoia SUVs and Tundra pickup trucks
Reason for recall: A vehicle diagnostic function may unnecessarily turn off the vehicle stability control system, increasing the risk of a crash.

Models recalled: 2018 Toyota Camry and 2015-2018 Lexus RC F, 2016–2018 Lexus GS F 2018 Lexus LC 500
Reason for recall: Fuel pipes and fuel hoses in the engine compartment may not be properly connected, which could lead to a fuel odor or leak.

Jeep

Models recalled: 2017 Jeep Wranglers and Dodge Caravan RTs
Reason for recall: A faulty brake pedal switch may allow vehicles to be shifted out of park without the brake pedal being depressed.

Models recalled: 2007-2010 Outlanders, 2008-2010 Lancers, 2009-2010 Lancer Evolutions 2010 Lancer Sportback, 2014-2016 Outlanders 2013-2016 Outlander Sports
Reason for recall: Older Outlanders and Lancers have sunroof glass that can detach; newer Outlanders have water that can seep into the back brake calipers, which could keep the brake from holding car in place.

Hyundai

Number of vehicles recalled: Approximately 87,900
Models recalled: 2006-11 Hyundai Azera sedans and 2006 Sonatas
Reason for recall: Water may enter the antilock brake module and result in an electrical short, which may cause an engine compartment fire even when the car is turned off.

Chrysler
