Is there a recall on your vehicle?

Does your vehicle have a defect? Several major automobile manufacturers have issued recalls in 2018 that drivers are recommended to have fixed. Here's a list of major recalls from this year.

Honda

Models recalled: 2018-19 Honda Odysseys.
Reason for recall: Parts in the power door rear latches can stick and stop the doors from fastening securely, leading them to opening while van is in motion.

Acura

Number of cars recalled: Approximately 65,000
Models recalled: 2017-19 Acura MDX SUVs, 2017-18 MDX Sport Hybrid SUVs, 2016 and 2018-19 Honda HR-V SUVs and 2018-19 Odyssey minivans.
Reason for recall: Gas pockets could form due to rear brake caliper pistons, reducing brake performance.

Subaru

Reason for recall: Due to a malfunctioning powertrain controller, some vehicles will stall while reducing speed.

Reason for recall: The relay may have inadequate connections, increasing the risk of a fire.

Ford

Reason for recall: The canister purge valve may become stuck, which may result in an engine stall.

Toyota

Reason for recall: The air bag control computer can erroneously detect a fault when the vehicles are started, meaning the air bags may not deploy in a crash. 

Kia
