Dr. Richard Nauheim, of Merrick, has been appointed site director of the ophthalmology residency program at South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside. He is the chief of ophthalmology at the hospital, a clinical assistant professor of surgery at Stony Brook University School of Medicine and assistant professor of ophthalmology at Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine.

PL Developments in Westbury, an over-the-counter health remedies supplier, has announced three new hires.

Jim Notti, of Babylon, joins as senior account services specialist. He was a planner/buyer at Fougera Pharmaceuticals in Melville.

Liliana Leon, of Glen Cove, joins as complaint associate. She was an assistant manager at Dermatology Center in Glen Cove.

Joji George, of Merrick, joins as a manufacturing engineer. He was an operations analyst at Luxottica Group in Port Washington.
