Fred L. Gold has joined Fusion Family Wealth in Melville as head of business development for the metropolitan area of New York. The Woodbury resident was a partner and head of the metro New York enterprise group at Arthur Andersen in Manhattan.


Robert Patterson has been promoted to director of sales and marketing at Progressive Computing in Manhattan. The Riverhead resident previously served as business development manager. Progressive Computing is a computer consulting and network installation, design and maintenance firm.


The Association of Fundraising Professionals Long Island chapter has announced a new chapter president and three new members of the board.

Judith Lach Veeck has been installed as chapter president. The Hampton Bays resident is director of development and public affairs for the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County in Riverhead.

Joanne Courtien, of Bay Shore, is a new board member. She is director of development for the Boy Scouts of America, Suffolk County Council, in Medford.

James Graham, of Lindenhurst, is a new board member. He is the director of college advancement at St. Joseph's College at the Long Island campus in Patchogue.

David Rosner, of Old Bethpage, is also a new board member. He is director of development at the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island in New Hyde Park.

Michael S. Amato, of Stony Brook, has been elected president of the Turnaround Management Association-Long Island Chapter. He is a partner at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek in Uniondale in financial services, banking and bankruptcy, and business reorganization. Turnaround is an international nonprofit dedicated to corporate renewal and turnaround management.


Karen Romanelli joins Centra360 in Westbury as vice president, account management. The Bethpage resident was account director at Geometry Global in Manhattan. Centra360 is a brand-activation agency.


Donna Bloom has joined Revive Medical in Plainview as a hypnotist. The Plainview resident was previously in private practice, also in Plainview.

John McCaffery serves as treasurer and has been promoted to executive vice president. The Plainview resident will work in the Hauppauge office and was formerly a senior vice president.

William Newham has been promoted to senior vice president and real estate team leader. The Blue Point resident will also work in the Hauppauge office and was a vice president and commercial lending officer.
