ACCOUNTING

Cullen & Danowski, a certified public accountants firm in Port Jefferson Station, has announced five promotions.

William J. Oterson has been promoted to supervisor. He is a member of the audit team and specializes in governmental and not-for-profit audits. The Holbrook resident was a senior accountant.

Raul E. Perez III also has been promoted to supervisor and is a member of the audit team. A resident of Patchogue, he was a senior accountant.

Antonio J. Ferro has been promoted to senior accountant. He is a member of the tax team and specializes in individual, business and not-for-profit tax. The Port Jefferson Station resident was a staff accountant.

Thomas J. Mager has been promoted to senior accountant. He is a member of the municipal accounting team and also serves as an adjunct professor of accounting at Stony Brook University. Previously, the Rocky Point resident was a staff accountant.

William P. Watkins has been promoted to senior accountant. He is a member of the tax team. The Manorville resident was a staff accountant.

LAW

Smith, Sovik, Kendrick & Sugnet in East Meadow has announced a promotion and a new hire.

Kenneth T. Boyd has been promoted to partner. He concentrates his practice in civil defense litigation. The Merrick resident was an associate.

Elizabeth E. Schlissel joins as an associate. She will handle all areas of litigation. The Forest Hills resident previously served as an assistant district attorney with the Nassau County district attorney's office in Mineola.

CONSTRUCTION

Racanelli Construction Co., a commercial/industrial building firm in Melville, has announced two new hires.

William Hahn joins as assistant project manager. The Brookville resident held a similar position at J. Kokolakis Contracting in Bohemia.

Francois Williams joins as assistant estimator. The West Babylon resident previously served in two concurrent roles, vice president of operations at F.J.W., in West Babylon, and chief executive at Worldwide Caulking, also in West Babylon.

HOSPITALITY

BrickHouse Brewery & Restaurant in Patchogue has announced a new hire and a promotion.

Arthur Zimmerman joins as brewmaster. The Miller Place resident was packaging technician at Avery Brewing in Boulder, Colo.

Paul Komsic of Patchogue has been promoted to assistant brewer. He will also continue in his role as manager.

HEALTH CARE

Dr. Kristen Aliano of Cold Spring Harbor has joined Long Island Plastic Surgical Group in Garden City as research fellow and residency research coordinator. She was clinical assistant instructor in surgery at Stony Brook University Hospital.
