Dr. Jeffrey N. Nichols
has been appointed senior vice president of clinical effectiveness and medical director at Our Lady of Consolation Nursing and Rehabilitative Care Center in West Islip, a member of Catholic Health Services of Long Island. The Manhattan resident was medical director and vice president for medical services at Cabrini Eldercare Consortium in Manhattan.

George Richardson has been named vice president of development at Huntington Hospital. He was most recently executive director of development and alumni relations at St. John's University School of Law in Queens and lives in Dix Hills.

Richard S. Block has been named team chiropractor for LIU Post in Brookville and adjunct clinical instructor at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. The Smithtown resident operates Block Chiropractic, which has offices in Smithtown and Selden and lives in Smithtown.
