Flushing Bank in Lake Success has announced three promotions.

Ronald Hartmann of Babylon has been promoted to executive vice president, director of commercial real estate lending. He was previously senior vice president, director of commercial real estate lending.

AJ Jin of Plainview has been promoted to executive vice president, director of residential and mixed-use lending. He was previously senior vice president, director of residential and mixed-use lending.

Theresa Kelly of Smithtown has been promoted to executive vice president, director of business banking. She was previously senior vice president, director of business banking.

Barbara Becker has been promoted to vice president, senior officer in commercial lending for Nassau County at TD Bank in Melville. The Hauppauge resident was previously a commercial lending officer.

NONPROFITS

The Safe Center LI in Bethpage has announced two new additions to its team.

Josh Hanson joins as child advocacy center director. The Brooklyn resident was a clinical forensic specialist for the Brooklyn Child Advocacy Center.

Deana McAleer joins as events manager. The Wading River resident previously planned the logistics of national events for Childhelp in Scottsdale, Ariz.

BOARDS/ASSOCIATIONS

Richard A. Weinblatt has been elected chair of the New York State Bar Association's Elder Law and Special Needs Section. The Nesconset resident is a partner of Haley Weinblatt & Calcagni in Islandia.

Michael Cardello III has been appointed to serve on the Academy of Court-Appointed Masters board of directors. The Plainview resident is a partner at the Garden City law firm of Moritt Hock & Hamroff.

HEALTH CARE

Dr. Andrew Sama has been named chairman of the department of emergency medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, and chief of emergency medicine at Catholic Health Services. The Manhasset resident previously served as attending physician in the department of medicine, department of surgery, and the department of emergency medicine at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset.
