Stephen J. Clemente has been elected chairman of Manhattan-based Premier HealthCare's board of trustees. The Massapequa resident is principal-in-charge, operations services at KPMG in Manhattan. Premier HealthCare provides coordinated medical, dental, mental health, rehabilitation and specialty care to children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families.

John J. Kearney of Garden City has been selected president of the Foundation for Accounting Education, which is within the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a shareholder at Jaeckle Kearney & Lepselter, a Garden City accounting firm.

Frank Degen has been named president of the National Association of Enrolled Agents, an organization that represents 46,000 federally licensed tax practitioners. The Setauket resident is a self-employed tax practitioner.

Victoria A. McGinn has been named to the board of directors of the National Association of Enrolled Agents, an organization that represents 46,000 federally licensed tax practitioners. The Holtsville resident has her own tax and accounting office in Miller Place.

LABOR

Ellen A. Redmond has been appointed the legislative and political coordinator for New York State as an international representative for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. The Smithtown resident previously worked at Hauppauge-based IBEW Local Union 1049 as director of external affairs and member benefits.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Laura Sikorski, of Centerport, has been named director of customer innovation and optimization at Washington-state-based Altivon, a call center solutions provider. She was previously an independent call center consultant and will work from a virtual office.

GOVERNMENT

Donald F. Vetter has been promoted to chief clerk of Nassau County Court in Mineola. The Massapequa resident was promoted from clerk specialist.

FINANCE

Mehmet Sengulen has joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in Melville as accounting assurance senior manager in its technology group. Sengulen, who is a Melville resident, held a similar position at J.H. Cohn in Jericho.

MEDIA

Sheri Lapidus has joined Dalver Media Group in Jericho as vice president of the bar/bat mitzvah division. She is the founder and chief executive of Jericho-based mitzvahmarket.com, a resource for bar/bat mitzvah event planning. Lapidus is a resident of Jericho.
