The National Association of the Remodeling Industry announced new appointments. Laurence Carolan has been elected chairman of the education committee. The North Merrick resident is the owner of House of Laurence, a contracting and remodeling company in North Merrick.

Bohemia resident Patrick Bentivegna has been elected chairman of the scholarship committee. He owns Benco Construction in Bohemia.

Victoria A. McGinn has been named to the board of directors of the National Association of Enrolled Agents, an organization that represents 46,000 federally licensed tax practitioners. The Holtsville resident has her own tax and accounting office in Miller Place.

LAW

Kerry K. Jardine has joined Rivkin Radler in Uniondale as an associate in the insurance coverage and litigation, and litigation and appeals practice groups. The Hicksville resident previously worked at Herricks Feinstein in Manhattan.
