Gregory Mitchell has joined as an associate in the health services practice group. The Eastport resident is a recent graduate of Emory University School of Law in Atlanta.

Joseph Sulzbach has joined as an associate in the litigation and appeals practice group. The Manhattan resident is a recent graduate of Hofstra University School of Law.

Clara Villarreal has joined as counsel in the litigation and appeals, and product liability and toxic tort groups. The Staten Island resident served as senior counsel for the New York City Law Department, office of the corporation counsel-tort division, in Manhattan.

Dr. Lori Attivissimo has been named medical director for post-acute services of the North Shore-LIJ Health System in Westbury. The Woodbury resident will take on this new role and continue in her current roles as senior medical director for Hospice Care Network and The Miracle Foundation Palliative Care Center, both in Woodbury.

Dr. John M. Cosgrove has been appointed as a new general and minimally invasive surgeon at Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport. The Shelter Island resident has a surgical practice at the hospital and previously served as chairman of surgery and residency program director for Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
