Yolanda Robano-Gross, a resident of Woodmere, has been appointed executive director of the board of directors at Options for Community Living in Smithtown. She was vice president of developmental disabilities, residential services at FEGS Health & Human Services in Copiague.

Robert M. Harper, a trusts and estates associate at the Uniondale law firm Farrell Fritz, has been appointed co-chair of the Suffolk County Bar Association Surrogate's Court Committee. The Garden City resident will serve a two-year term.

Miriam Goldstein of Huntington Station has been appointed to the board of the Long Island Center for Business & Professional Women in Melville. She is an integrated mind body health specialist at Stone to Water Therapeutics in Huntington Station.

The Estate Planning Council of Nassau County has new officers and board members.

Albert V. Althaus of Massapequa Park will serve as president. He owns Creative Professional & Executive Planning Corp. in East Meadow.

Ilene D. Samuel of Woodbury will serve as vice president. She is of counsel at the Garden City law firm L'Abbate, Balkan, Colavita & Contini.

James P. O'Connor of Levittown will be treasurer. He is an attorney and tax principal at Albrecht, Viggiano, Zureck & Co. in Hauppauge.

James T. Peluso of Melville will be secretary. He is a financial adviser at Raymond James Financial Services in Melville.

Jeffrey M. Novick of Syosset will serve on the executive board. He is the principal at his law firm in Woodbury.

Melissa M. Gonzalez of Huntington will serve on the executive board. She is a tax manager at Rynkar, Vail & Barrett in Mineola and Manhattan.

William B. James III of Garden City will serve on the executive board. He is a financial adviser, assistant vice president and trust officer with U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management in Melville.

NONPROFIT GROUPS

Michael Pirozzi, of Sea Cliff, has been promoted to full-time program associate at The Retreat Suffolk County Fatherhood Initiative, in Hauppauge, a program of The Retreat. It assists at-risk fathers to prevent domestic violence and overcome challenges. He was a part-time program specialist.

Dawn Rubino of Northport joined the Huntington office; she was a relationship manager at First Data Corp. in Melville.

Silvia Mileo of Floral Park joined the Manhasset office; she was co-owner/manager at Criterion Roofers in Queens.

Louis Cacciatore Jr. of Middle Island joined in Mount Sinai; he worked at Avalon Gardens Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Smithtown.

Patricia Logiudice of Smithtown has joined the office there; she was a salesperson with Exit Realty in Wantagh.

Jieun Yoo of Jericho joined in Syosset after working in sales at Silvana Bosco Realty in Franklin Square.
