The 7.3-acre Southampton Green Top Farm estate listed for $10 million is near the National Golf Links of America, the Sebonack Golf Club and Shinnecock Hills, which will host the 2018 U.S. Open.
The gated compound contains three homes but has space and the zoning to add a fourth, its listing agent says.
“It’s a totally unique listing,” says listing agent Sam Kelly of Bespoke Real Estate. “The open seven acres and the fact that four residences are allowed make this a very amazing opportunity and location.”
The main six-bedroom, five-bath residence is 3,400 square feet. A pair of guesthouses each have four bedrooms and two baths and are about 2,700 square feet. All of the homes have been renovated within the last year, Kelly says, producing improvements such as new kitchens, floors and carpeting.
The main home includes a dining terrace covered by a vine-wrapped pergola. Beyond the kitchen, there is an herb garden with a lily pond. The guest homes each have great rooms with vaulted ceilings, and one has built-in bookshelves that reach the ceiling of the great room.
Bridgehampton-based nursery Marders developed conceptual plans for the property, which includes the fourth home, auxiliary buildings and landscaping. Those plans map out where three par-3 holes — Redan and Short from National Golf Links, and Hill Head from Shinnecock — can be recreated on the grounds.
The property includes an in-ground gunite saltwater pool, a resurfaced tennis court and a soccer field.
