It took 266 days and several price reductions, but Grammy Award-winning singer Alicia Keys has finally found a buyer for her Muttontown mansion.
The seven-bedroom, 6.5-bath, 9,000-square-foot house went into contract Friday, according to real estate records. Keys put the 2.2-acre property on the market in June 2010 for $3.85 million. She lowered the price in November to $2.995 million.
The contract price has not yet been disclosed.
"I think the house is incredible. I think the buyers are going to be extremely happy, from the gated driveway with the long approach to the breathtaking bridal staircase," says Elliott, who owns the company.
