When Nancy Perry bought her 1903 Arts and Crafts-style Huntington home 13 years ago, the previous owner had just completed a major renovation.
It included a new kitchen, new bathrooms, an extension on the second floor (for a full bathroom and a walk-in closet), a new roof and new siding. But all the original Arts and Crafts touches were left, says Perry, who is listing the home for $620,000 with Bonnie Williamson of Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty.
The living room and dining room walls have stained batten paneling (which is wood paneling from the floor to two-thirds up the wall), and the living room ceiling is dark-stained wood paneling with exposed beams.
Built-in bookshelves flank a fireplace.
The front porch is large and nearly spans the width of the house. A leaded glass window sits above a window seat on a stairway landing.
