An Amagansett home by noted modern architect Charles Gwathmey, known for his 1992 renovation of the Guggenheim Museum, is on the market with a new agent and price. The five-bedroom home is asking $4.85 million.
“It’s getting a lot of attention from people who are interested in the architecture,” says Hara Kang of Douglas Elliman Real Estate, who is co-listing the property with Justin Agnello and James Keogh, part of the firm’s Atlantic Team.
The home was built in 1970 and has a double-height great room and original built-ins.
The home next door was also built by Gwathmey.
The home was originally listed in late 2016 for $5.995 million.
