CitiMortgage representatives will meet with homeowners this weekend in Hauppauge to discuss mortgage modifications, refinancing and other potential help for those in distress.

The one-on-one consultations will take place on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Upsky Long Island Hotel at 110 Motor Pkwy.

Homeowners should bring their mortgage account number; pay stubs for the last 60 days or, if unemployed, an unemployment benefits letter; bank and investment account statements for the last 60 days; current property tax statements; homeowners insurance information; two years of tax returns; self-employment financial statements, if applicable; and a primary mortgage statement, for those seeking help with a second mortgage.

The following forms will be available at the event: 4506T tax form to request a tax return transcript; Request for Mortgage Assistance form; and Dodd-Frank Certification form. Or, homeowners can find the forms online and complete them in advance.

Homeowners can register at events.citimortgage.com, but advance registration is not required.  For information or assistance, call 866-915-9417 or visit www.citiroadtorecovery.com.
