If you’re a fan of Denis Leary’s “Rescue Me,” you may want to keep a close eye during the 2011 season — the seventh and final season — for familiar places.
Leary and Co. were at Falaise in Sands Point filming outside the mansion and on the grounds all day Tuesday. Everyone was mum about exactly what happened, but someone was throwing somebody’s ashes off a cliff. Fire crew and non-fire crew cast were on site. So, cross your fingers that your favorite was throwing ashes and not being thrown.
Season Six starts June 29 on FX and runs 10 episodes.
Other projects that have filmed at the Preserve include the USA Network series “Royal Pains” in Hempstead House and Nicolas Cage and the film “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” on the grounds and inside Hempstead House. "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" opens July 16.
