If so, then you've probably already heard that the Georgian Colonial home at 17 Lincoln Pl. is no longer up for grabs to one lucky winner.
"We are now completely canceling the raffle," says a website that once sold $50 tickets. The Nassau County District Attorney's office is now probing the raffle because some of the 16,000 people who bought tickets complained they've heard nothing about a winner. (Read more about that here.)
County records show that the canal-front five-bedroom, four-bath house and its boat dock are in foreclosure.
In 2006, owners John Luongo and Scott Cicerone had put the house, still under construction, on the market for $1.25 million with the promise that they were "building your waterfront dream home." They originally purchased the land in 2005 for $550,000. At the time, there was a 1947 bungalow on the property that has since been torn down.
