An oceanfront East Hampton home that Bill and Hillary Clinton rented in 2011 and 2012 is on the market for $32.5 million.

The eight-bedroom house was designed and built in 1920 by architect John Custis Lawrence and completely renovated in 2002, with a new kitchen added this year.

The mansion, which has six fireplaces, is on 200 feet of property on the Atlantic Ocean in the coveted estate area of Lily Pond Lane. There are water views from nearly every room, says Rebekah Baker of Sotheby's International Realty, who is co-listing the property with Edward Petrie.

The 1.2-acre property has a heated gunite pool and a private path to the beach.

"It is rare that there is such a classic in such mint condition with every modern amenity at your fingertips," Baker says. "The Clintons did stay at this house, and one can understand why. It is extremely beautiful and once you drive into the property it feels very private."
