A modern East Hampton home with windows that reach to the 22-foot ceilings has listed for $4.7 million.

The 4,500-square-foot house, designed by Hamptons architect Bruce Nagel, includes five bedrooms and five bathrooms. The front doors, which listing agent Richard Swift of Town & Country Real Estate describes as “a work of art in themselves,” are made of 400 pounds of steel, he says.

Beyond the foyer is a living room with a curved wall containing windows that stretch from the floor to the 22-foot ceilings and look out to the wooded property. The open layout also includes a den with a Zen garden, dining area and akitchen with stainless steel appliances, center island and sliding glass doors that open to a deck with an outdoor kitchen. Also on the main level of the house is the master suite, which features a full bathroom and walk-in closet.

An open-railed, maple staircase leads to the upper level, which includes two en-suite bedrooms with private decks.

The house also has a lower level with two bedrooms, a bathroom, entertainment area and storage space.

The secluded 2.15-acre property, in East Hampton’s Northwest Woods, features a heated three-car garage, an outdoor shower and a 20-by-40-foot heated, gunite pool with flagstone coping and a hot tub.
