Why it’s for sale Lauren, 36, owns Lieb School, a real estate continuing education school, and her husband, Andrew, is the managing attorney at Lieb at Law. They say they’re moving to Smithtown to be closer to their new corporate headquarters.

This 4,047-square-foot home was going to be the Liebs’ forever home, says Lauren. They did a gut renovation and even planted 150 trees on the perimeter of the property for privacy. Lauren shares:

“We originally lived around the corner and saw this home during a walk around the block. We liked the bones of the house, it was just outdated. We modernized it and took down walls to make an open floor plan. Every closet in the home was customized, and we changed every high hat to LED fixtures. We have a Nest home automation heating and cooling system. We finished the basement and put in a full bathroom. Our son’s playroom is down there. When we extended the deck, we included a built-in bench. . . . The home office has custom shelving, and there’s wiring for TVs in nearly every room. The master suite has two walk-in closets. One is a dressing room has a window. The neighborhood is phenomenal. The community is called Baywood, and each lot is a little under two acres. Every house looks different. The streets are wide, and we have private access to a community dock. The homes are beautifully cared for. We just love this community.”
