It might not be the Plaza Hotel, but the East Hampton home of Hilary Knight, illustrator of the “Eloise” series of books by Kay Thompson, has come on the market. The asking price for the three-bedroom home is $1.1 million.

Knight purchased the home in 1969 and has lived there 30 years, says Barbara Lobosco of Douglas Elliman Real Estate, who is listing the property with Julie Keyes at Saunders & Associates.

The home features wooden ceilings throughout the first floor, and a bathroom on the main floor has a mural illustrated and painted by Knight of his collection of children’s characters.

On the property is a pool, pond and pool house.
