An open house is being planned at some point at Debra Meyn’s West Babylon home. If you go, put your hand over your heart from the moment you walk in until you leave and you will have paid homage to this great country of ours -- 433 times!

Meyn has been an extreme fan of Americana décor for more than 35 years and has American flag-related items in every room (the count is actually 483 items if you include each of her dishes). From the American flag wallpaper in the bathroom (thank you, Lowe’s) to her favorite item, a print of George Washington on bended knee praying before crossing the Delaware River, she has patriotism covered.

“I love Americana, patriotism, and the country we live in," says Meyn. She also has affinities for the Civil War, American Indians and John Wayne. This results in a home bursting with national pride in waves of red, white and blue.

She's acquired pieces from many sources, including magazines, garage sales, gifts from family and friends, and country stores around Long Island.

This sweet two-bedroom, one-bathroom ranch has been on the market since mid-May. It has gleaming wood floors, a front porch, a rear deck, a 1.5-car garage and, of course, a white picket fence.

It is listed for $276,000 with Maria Russo Schwartz at Century 21 AA Realty in Lindenhurst. The property is 50 by 100 feet, and annual taxes are $4,002.
