A Fire Island Pines home spanning two oceanfront lots is on the market for $3.25 million.
The five-bedroom house with four bathrooms and a half bath has 120 feet of oceanfront, says Vincent Petrarca, listing agent with Douglas Elliman Real Estate.
"It's one of the few oceanfront properties on two lots," Petrarca said.
Every bedroom of the house has views of the water, and the double-height living room looks out over the ocean.
Architecturally, the house was built to fit in with the beach as well, Petrarca says.
"The house is very much in that Pines vernacular style, with cedar siding and great big windows," Petrarca says.
On both sides of the living room are bedrooms connected by a bridge that goes across the second story. There is also a separate staff apartment that looks out onto the ocean.
Also outside is a pool overlooking the beach.
The home has only had one family living in it since it was built in the mid-1970s, Petrarca says.
