Gov. Christie orders flags at half-staff after CT shooting

Conn. officials say 20 students and six adults were shot at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

EDISON - New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie commented with a heavy heart on Friday on the Connecticut school shooting that left 27 dead.

"The people of the state of Connecticut endured an unspeakable tragedy," the governor said.

Christie offered his condolences to fellow Gov. Dannel Malloy and to the families of each of the victims. He also ordered flags be lowered to half-staff until Tuesday, in memory of those who were killed.
