A recently completed shingle-style Bridgehampton home has been chosen to host this year’s Hampton Designer Showhouse, which is been sponsored by Traditional Home magazine and will benefit Southampton Hospital.
The three-floor, 10,000-square-foot manse, built by All Seasons General Contracting of Ronkonkoma, is on the market for $6.45 million. It is on 2.2 acres and comes with seven bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and a two-story pool house.
The sale is being handled by Frank Bodenchak of Saunders & Associates.
The 25 interior designers and decorative artists will be decorating the house for the 11th annual event.
“This amazing project always draws a talented set of new and established designers and benefits a great institution,” says Ann Main, editor in chief of Traditional Home.
The show house will open with a gala preview July 23 and be open seven days a week starting July 24 through Sept. 4. Tickets are $225 for the gala and $30 for the tour and are available by calling 631-745-0004 or visiting www.hamptondesignershowhouse.com.
