The largest Hamptons sale of the year recently closed for $31 million, according to listing agent Beate Moore of Sotheby’s International Realty.

The 2,500-square-foot, four-bedroom oceanfront home on Gin Lane in Southampton had been on the market for $32 million. Moore said there were multiple bids.

The nearly 3-acre property includes the vine-covered home, built in 1950, as well as specimen trees, a tennis court and a swimming pool with stone statues at each corner.
