Town and Country Real Estate releases top 10 most expensive sales in the Hamptons

In a listing of 2017’s top 10 most expensive real estate sales in the Hamptons, seven of the sales were on properties in Southampton Village, according to Town and Country Real Estate.

That includes the top sale of the year, which was for an oceanfront home on Gin Lane that sold for $31 million. The 2,500-square-foot home, with four bedrooms, sits on a three-acre property.

Bill and Hillary Clinton’s former summer rental home on Lily Pond Lane in East Hampton was a runner-up at $29 million.

A Norman Jaffe-designed oceanfront home set on three acres in Southampton sold for $27.5 million. A 10-bedroom, 12-full bathroom home known as Tower House in Southampton went for $26 million. The Pond House in East Hampton, situated along Georgica Pond, sold for $25,925,500.

Rounding out the list was a $25 million sale on a 5.5-acre property on Middle Lane in East Hampton; a 5,500-square-foot house on Meadow Lane in Southampton that sits on three oceanfront acres that sold for $24.6 million; $24 million sales for a 13,000-square-foot home on Captains Neck Lane in Southampton and the home of the Sbarro Pizza heir on Pheasant Lane in Southampton; a newly constructed 11,000-square-foot home on Old Town Road in Southampton that sold for $22.15 million; and a $21 million sale on Hedges Lane in Sagaponack.
