Middle Island, 34 Kate Circle, $415,000

This three-bedroom condo sits on the third hole of the Birchwood at Spring Lake Golf Club, says listing agent Marian McKenna of Douglas Elliman Real Estate. The owners enjoy views of the manicured greens from their backyard deck, McKenna says, where they can seek the shade of the rollout awning. McKenna says the “lush” property has served as both a tranquil retreat and an attractive place to entertain.

The 2004 home offers two full bathrooms and two half-baths and an eat-in kitchen with custom cabinets, granite counters, stainless steel appliances and a Sub-Zero freezer. There’s a formal dining room, a living room with a fireplace and a first-floor master suite with a Jacuzzi and steam shower.

The 2,400-square-foot home offers ceramic and hardwood floors, custom closets and a finished basement with a rec room, office and sliding glass doors to the yard. There’s a patio and two-car garage on the property, and residents have access to two community clubhouses with gyms as well as four tennis courts and two indoor and two outdoor pools.

The taxes are $9,947, and the monthly common charges are $460. Marian McKenna, Douglas Elliman Real Estate, 631-363-5425.

Merrick, 2782 Clubhouse Rd., $684,500

From the trilevel deck of this waterfront home you’ll find two appealing views, says listing agent Dan Adams of Real Living Innovations. You can see a canal and the elevated greens and open fairways of the Merrick Golf Course beyond. The property features a koi pond and a boardwalk leading to the 60-foot bulkhead on the water’s edge.

The split-ranch offers 2 1⁄2 baths and an updated eat-in kitchen with granite counters, stainless steel appliances, a butcher block island and French doors to the yard. The 1964 house has an open floor plan with a den, office and a formal dining room with a fireplace.

The second level is a formal living room with a fireplace and skylights in the vaulted ceilings. All four bedrooms — including a master suite with a walk-in closet — are on the third level. The home also offers hardwood floors, central air-conditioning, an attic and a finished basement. The 61-by-120-foot property comes with beach rights and deeded dock rights.

The taxes are $21,803. Dan Adams, Real Living Innovations, 516-729-8288.

Hempstead, 106 Long Dr., $749,000

The 0.47-acre property of this brick Colonial overlooks the Hempstead Golf and Country Club, says listing agent Ralph DeBrosse of Mayfair Realty. The oversized backyard has been decorated and landscaped to make the most of the view, DeBrosse says, with features like a fountain, circular walkways, and a patio with a built-in barbecue.

DeBrosse says the yard has been the site of many family celebrations over the years, with the owners hosting engagement parties, a wedding and an annual Fourth of July bash where guests have a front-row seat to the country club’s fireworks.

The five-bedroom house has 3 1⁄2 baths and an open floor plan featuring an eat-in granite kitchen with a wine refrigerator and a banquet-sized formal dining room. There’s a sunken living room with a fireplace and a den with a wood-burning stove. The 1953 home has been completely updated, DeBrosse says, offering a nursery, office and two master suites — including one with a Jacuzzi tub and frameless stall shower. Amenities include new hardwood floors, crown moldings, surround sound and security systems.

The taxes are $26,204. Ralph DeBrosse, Mayfair Realty, 516-292-6882.
