If you want a home with a hot tub

The four-seasons room is on the second floor

A second-floor four-seasons room was added to this high-ranch to make room for an indoor hot tub, says listing agent John Cordeira of Century 21 American Homes. French doors open from the kitchen to the 21-by-15-foot space, which is enclosed with walls and ceilings of glass. An eight-person hot tub is in the corner of the room, which is heated and air-conditioned. Stairs lead from the room down to the backyard, which includes a brick patio and is next to a nature preserve that is part of Cedar Creek Park, Cordeira says. The sunroom, hot tub, and lounging areas make the place “a great house for entertaining,” Cordeira says. The three-bedroom, two-bathroom home includes an eat-in kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a dining room. The living room features a stone-faced fireplace, a bay window and a skylight. The first level boasts a family room with a bar and fireplace. The 86-by-102-foot property includes a one-car garage. The taxes are $11,861. John Cordeira, Century 21 American Homes, 516-526-8077

Inside the solarium of this raised ranch is a hot tub that “lends itself to enjoyment for a family throughout the year,” says listing agent Lisa Sherman of Realty Connect USA. The room, with windows and skylights, is fully enclosed, with heat and air-conditioning. It is on the first level with a den, bedroom and half-bathroom and has an outside entrance that leads to the backyard and fenced, in-ground pool. Because the solarium and hot tub are separate from the second-level living quarters, Sherman says the space has the potential to be zoned for a professional office. The home features four bedrooms and 2 1⁄2 bathrooms. On the second level is the living room, dining room and an eat-in kitchen with a breakfast room that has sliding glass doors to the back deck. There are also three bedrooms, including a master with a full bathroom. The half-acre property, which is within walking distance of Commack High School, includes a two-car garage. The taxes are $15,270. Lisa Sherman, Realty Connect USA, 631-350-7220

Miller Place

190 Miller Place Rd.

The basement of this Miller Place ranch features a hot tub room and a tanning booth room, says listing agent Susan Hebert of Hickey and Smith Realtors. Tanning lamps hang on the wall of what was formerly a closet and “all you have to do is flick the switch,” Hebert says. The basement, which Hebert says was previously used as a gym, has 12-foot ceilings and an outside entrance. The 1.67-acre property also includes a fenced-in and heated in-ground pool with a new liner. Next to the covered porch in the backyard is a full outside bathroom, along with a separate outdoor rinsing area. The four-bedroom, 3 1⁄2 bathroom home includes an eat-in kitchen and dining room. A dual-sided fireplace warms both the living room, which has a skylight, and the den, which has sliding glass doors to the backyard. The master bedroom has a full bathroom with a shower and Jacuzzi tub, Hebert said. The property, which is on a cul-de-sac, also features an attic and a 2 1⁄2-car garage. The taxes are $16,334.
