Maybe having the U.S. Open in Long Island’s backyard would inspire house hunters to search for a property with a tennis court. Buyers don’t have to be shopping in the multimillion-dollar range to find one.

There are two fenced-in tennis courts behind this three-bedroom condo in a gated development called The Yacht Club. “You can see the courts from the back deck,” says listing agent Catherine Kelly of Beach West Realty Corp.

“Tennis courts in this market area are almost nonexistent,” Sanders says. “Most homes that have tennis courts are at much, much higher price points.”
