Jennifer Lopez is buying a 10,500-square-foot newly built home in the Hamptons, a source tells Real LI.
The shingled seven-bedroom Water Mill residence is listed for $17,995,000 as a co-exclusive between Saunders & Associates and The Corcoran Group.
“There’s an accepted offer, and the contracts are out,” says the source.
The home has views of the Atlantic Ocean and Mecox Bay and shares a dock with a nearby property once owned by the late actor Cliff Robertson. There’s a pool pavilion with a separate spa on the 2-acre property.
The home’s lower level, with an additional 3,350 square feet, contains a theater, gym, sauna, wine room and playroom, presumably for Lopez’s 3-year-old twins, Max and Emme.
Lopez visited the property several times over the summer. "It's a spacious new home built to high standards ... She likes it very much," the source says.
The deal is expected to go to contract within the next few weeks.
Lopez has lived in Brookville for several years with husband, Marc Anthony, from whom she is separated.
