Construction is complete at Knickerbocker Bay Club in Port Washington, the newest condominium complex in the North Shore peninsula community.
The 32-unit complex, limited to those age 62 and older, is in a waterfront building with three levels and a rooftop deck. It is sited on the property of the old Knickerbocker Yacht Club.
Prices range from $600,000 to $3 million, and monthly common charges range from $1,000 to $3,600. Some 18 units are already sold.
The condos have high-end appointments. The bathrooms have marble flooring and walk-in showers.
Indoor parking is available below each unit, which also includes a virtual doorman: When a visitor calls a unit to request access, the homeowner can view a one-way video image and either buzz that person in or ignore the call and pull down the shades.
