Will Sir Paul McCartney be hearing the bang of a builder’s silver hammer all summer long now that a real estate investment corporation has purchased land near his Amagansett compound?
According to the Long Island Real Estate Report, a 1.9-acre tract of vacant land neighboring McCartney’s home transferred Jan. 28 for $900,000. The new owner of the land is listed as the Amagansett Real Estate Investment Corp.
Arlene Reckson of The Corcoran Group had the listing. Corcoran's Biana Stepanian brought the buyer.
McCartney, who also lists his contiguous property under an investment corporation’s name, has been a fixture on the East End for several weeks each summer since the early days of his marriage to his late wife Linda McCartney.
