This contemporary Muttontown home sits next to a preserve, as well as the former home of Grammy-winning musician Alicia Keys. It is on the market for $1.679 million.

The five-bedroom home, co-listed with Frances Mazer of Signature Premier Properties and Jonathan Matute of Alexander Madison Realty, features a stone fireplace, vaulted ceilings and a custom-built bar in the family room. The master suite has a separate loft and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub.

The property has two heated pools, along with a hot tub and cabana.

Seller Charles Peck says that Keys mostly kept to herself when she lived next door, though he met her once when she stopped to see his Maltese when he was out walking the dog.

Keys sold her 2.2-acre estate, with a seven-bedroom mansion, for $2.995 million in 2011.
