The Nardellas, who have a 6-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son, had their 2,300-square-foot home built in 2006. John says:

“We’re a few blocks from the Long Island Expressway . . . and less than 30 minutes to wine country. . . . The best feature here is the large property. As parents of young kids (and me growing up in Brooklyn), it’s comforting to know the kids are not on the street. Everything they need is in the backyard. And it’s perfect for a large crowd. We grill and have a great time . . . The rooms are very spacious. We spend most of our time in the family room. There’s also a formal dining room and living room . . . There are hardwood floors throughout, except the master bedroom and kitchen. The fourth bedroom . . . is an office.”
