Looking for brave Long Island sellers

Readers who want advice on why their home

Readers who want advice on why their home is not selling can submit a videotape to get feedback. Photo Credit: Tony Jerome

Have you been trying to sell your home and just can't figure out why no one wants it? Then make a video. We'll put the video online and let readers offer input on why it might not be selling. Could it be the house is too bright a shade of yellow? Or that the grass needs to be cut? Or that you have too many personal photos in the living room?

This is not an exercise for those cowed by criticism,  but for sellers who want real input on what may be preventing a sale. Videos must be shot in high-definition and no more than 2 minutes long. Sellers must appear on camera.

Send the video as a QuickTime .mov file on disc, along with your name, address, phone number and e-mail address, to: Valerie Kellogg, Newsday, 235 Pinelawn Rd., Melville, N.Y. 11747. Discs will not be returned, and not all videos will be used.
