Earlier this year, the 27.6-acre Dream Come True farm in Manorville made headlines when it was rumored that the Material Girl was purchasing the property. Madonna did not materialize and the equestrian facility, which hit the market two years ago for about $9 million, is still for sale.
The farm is currently listed with The Corcoran Group, and the price has been reduced to $5.99 million.
The property houses one of the largest indoor riding rings on Long Island, with 54 indoor stalls and more than 30 paddocks, says listing agent Mark Schindler. The land is adjacent to the Pine Barrens and has access to thousands of acres of riding trails, he says.
The farm offers a 5,300-square-foot, four-bedroom Georgian mansion built in 1996. The home has a covered loggia, a formal dining room, a formal sitting room, a library/office and a three-car attached garage and a full basement. Schindler says the property is perfect for someone looking to run a home business in addition to the farm.
Annual taxes are $32,732.
