This Bohemia condo listed for $427,000 is on sale. Until the end of the month, the two-bedroom, 2.5-bath unit has been reduced to $389,000.
The markdown on the home at 17 Yellowstone Loop and eight other brand-new units at the Parkplace by Island Estates development is meant to lure in buyers before the homebuyer’s tax credit expires. Those who want the slashed price must be in contract on a property by April 30, says broker Kenneth Sadler, sales director for Island Estates (631-750-5543).

By 11 one morning during a storm that dumped more than two feet of snow in his neighborhood, his driveway was clear, he says, adding, “I didn’t lift a shovel.”
