A Colonial in Oyster Bay with a Mediterranean exterior and an artsy interior is on the market for $725,000.
The three-bedroom house features a foyer with 20-foot ceilings and slate walls, and a modern kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, along with silver-colored tin ceilings and ornate chandelier. There is also a column covered in a mosaic of mirrored glass.
The seller, who is currently renting out the home, designed the interior, says Tina McGowan of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, who is co-listing the home with Donna Madden.
“It’s not your normal cookie-cutter house,” McGowan says “It’s artistic and very eclectic.”
According to a story handed down to the owners, the home was built by a Freemason as a surprise for his wife, and there are multiple Freemason emblems throughout the house.
