An eight-bedroom, 15-bathroom, 12,000-square-foot newly constructed French chateau-style home in Brookville is on the market for $11.8 million.

The home is on more than five acres with a heated pool, two waterfalls, a koi pond, spa, pavilion, fireplaces, a firepit, outdoor kitchen, four-car garage and tennis court, all in woodlands, says Paul Tyree of Laffey Fine Homes; Tyree co-lists the home with Deborah Paley.

The house has smart technology applied to the security, phones, intercom and water filtration systems. The kitchen has two Bosch dishwashers, a Wolf gas stove with grill and double oven and microwave. The dining room has 18-karat gold on the ceiling and gilded-panel molding accents with a huge bay window offering expansive views of the property, Tyree says.
