The North Haven waterfront estate known as Tyndal Point was sold for $36 million, according to the Long Island Real Estate Report.

The amount billionaire real estate developer Jeffrey Greene paid May 3 for the 55-acre property was a secret due to a confidentiality agreement with seller Robert Rust, Greene told Newsday earlier this month.

Gary DePersia of The Corcoran Group represented both sides of the deal, which he described as “a very smooth transaction.”

The gated compound was first listed in 2007 for $80 million.
