The den of a 1850s Southold home on the market for $749,000 was once used as a store, according to the property's listing agent.
Maida Srdanovic of Nest Seekers International, who is marketing the property, says the four-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home sits on a half-acre next to a vineyard.
Owner Michael DiSilvio has updated the home with tiled showers, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and a new roof.
“It’s all insulated, but we left it the same structurally,” DiSilvio says. “We added cast iron claw feet to the bathtubs and replaced the windows with Anderson thermal ones.”
Multiple patios overlook the backyard, which is adjacent to Mattebella Vineyards.
