Why it’s for sale Kathie, 69, who is retired from sales, and Robert, 70, an attorney, say they’re relocating to Florida.

The Meguins have owned their home since 1991, raising their two sons there. Kathie shares:

“What I fell in love with is the kitchen with windows that look out to the back property. My husband loved the privacy of the property. Wetlands are behind us, and no one is allowed to build there. We’re the last house on the creek, and it’s been great for kayaking. … We have a living room and a separate family room. There’s a nearly full wall of windows and sliders in the family room looking onto the deck, which is mahogany and 20 by 40 feet. A smaller one three steps down is where we barbecue. We do a lot of outdoor entertaining three quarters of the year. … Hardwood floors are throughout and the master bedroom and bath are on the first floor. We’ve redone all three bathrooms, the kitchen and the family room. The family room has a wood-burning fireplace flanked by built-in bookcases. The high-hat lighting makes it very cozy and inviting. The neighborhood is absolutely wonderful. There are only 53 homes in the Yennecott Park Property Owners Association. The annual dues are $100 and include beach rights and access to a pond.”
