Susan, 52, a professor at Queens College, and Doug, 46, director of operations in the wine industry, say they’re relocating to North Carolina.

The Zuckers’ 3,564-square-foot home has regal touches. Susan shares:

“We love our home. We still walk around saying, ‘This is a great house.’ The grand entrance has a soaring center hall. We love the high ceiling throughout the house and the flow while entertaining. We entertain a lot. We’ve had parties with 50 to 60 people and still plenty of room. The kitchen opens to a large breakfast nook and that leads to the den, which has a fireplace and is where we watch TV. The breakfast nook has sliding doors that open to a large TimberTeck composite deck, which is so convenient for grilling. We enjoy terrific sunsets out there. The views are wonderful. . . . We both enjoy cooking. My husband’s in the wine business, and I used to be a high school food teacher. We love cooking together in the kitchen. It’s spacious and nicely laid out. My husband and I were merging families when we bought the home, and there was lots of space. There are hardwood floors and custom molding throughout. Each of the bathrooms has beautiful Old World-style vanities. It’s such a convenient location. We’re one to two miles to the parkways. We’re on a cul-de-sac with fabulous neighbors. We’re going to miss this place.”
