'Win Win' home goes into contract

This house, a 1912 Colonial on South Maryland Avenue In Port Washington, was used in the feature film "Win Win."

The Port Washington house featured in the upcoming film "Win Win" has finally gone into contract, the listing agent says.

The last asking price for the 1913 white Colonial on South Maryland Avenue was $499,000. The sales price will not be revealed until closing.

Lynn Hehn of Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty says the film starring actor Paul Giamatti only made use of the first floor and the basement. The kitchen was removed to make room for an office and later reinstalled, she says.

The production company leased the three-bedroom, two-bath house for six to eight weeks. "They came back a second time to refilm scenes," says Hehn.

The house had been listed for $589,000.

"Win Win" opens Friday in Manhattan; it opens on Long Island April 1.
