The last asking price for the 1913 white Colonial on South Maryland Avenue was $499,000. The sales price will not be revealed until closing.
Lynn Hehn of Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty says the film starring actor Paul Giamatti only made use of the first floor and the basement. The kitchen was removed to make room for an office and later reinstalled, she says.
The production company leased the three-bedroom, two-bath house for six to eight weeks. "They came back a second time to refilm scenes," says Hehn.
The house had been listed for $589,000.
