Blanket, is that you?
If Amanda Bynes wants to avoid paparazzi, maybe she shouldn't walk through Times Square in broad daylight with a shirt over her head. Newsflash: We can see you.
That's what the troubled child star did Tuesday afternoon, as she made her way to a meeting for her upcoming clothing and perfume line. But Bynes, 27, didn't appear to have a destination in mind as she nearly walked head-on into a scaffolding pole and made a stop at McDonald's, all the while wearing a blue button-up shirt in an unconventional way.
This is just the latest instance of Bynes' odd behavior. Last week, she tweeted an obscene message at rapper Drake and debuted a scary new makeover last month, complete with bizarre cheek piercings and an unflattering blonde hairstyle.
Though Bynes relocated to New York City months ago, it seems she still hasn't adjusted to the aggressive nature of photographers in the unofficial paparazzi capital of the world. Tuesday's outing isn't the first time she tried to thwart their efforts — Bynes has tried hiding her face with a purse as well as a scarf on separate NYC outings in the past.
She also seems to be undermining paparazzi shots by taking her own, tweeting a series of selfies after her strange walk through Times Square, writing, "My selfies we're taken after those paparazzi photos. I was walking to a photo shoot for my clothing line & perfume line that's in the works!"
Not only that, but Bynes is pretty annoyed at the attention she is getting from tabloids — so much so that she's threatening to take legal action.
"I'm suing @usweekly & @perezhilton for continuing to act like I'm doing something wrong by tweeting and walking to photoshoots." She ends the tweet with an expletive.
What do you think? Is Amanda Bynes a woman on the edge?
