Alec Baldwin and his wife, yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas Baldwin, have welcomed their third child together.
“We are so pleased to introduce you to our new baby, Leonardo Ángel Charles Baldwin,” Hilaria Baldwin posted on Instagram late Monday night, with a photo of herself in a hospital bed, smiling as she cradled a newborn. “It was such a special day bringing him into this world.” Two-time Emmy Award-winning actor Alec Baldwin, 58, ran the same photo without comment.
The couple had announced the pregnancy in March, with Hilaria Baldwin posting on social media that “Ireland, Carmen, Rafael, Alec, and I are excited to share with you that we are going to have another addition to our family.” The couple has a daughter, Carmen, 3, and a son, Rafael, 1, and Alec Baldwin has a 20-year-old daughter, Ireland, with his ex-wife, Oscar-winner Kim Basinger. “A little boy coming this fall,” Hilaria Baldwin continued in the March post.
Alec Baldwin, who was born in Amityville and raised in the Nassau Shores neighborhood of Massapequa, met Hilaria Thomas in February 2011 at the Manhattan vegan restaurant Pure Food and Wine. On April 2, 2012, they announced they had become engaged over the weekend, with Baldwin proposing during a visit to the East End. They were wed June 30, 2012, at the Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in Manhattan. They have homes in Manhattan and Amagansett.
Hilaria Baldwin was born in Mallorca, Spain, and raised in that country and in Boston. She graduated from New York University, majoring in art history and dance.
