The very fashionable human rights lawyer who also happens to be George Clooney's new wife has been named Barbara Walters' “Most Fascinating Person of 2014.”

Amal Clooney (maiden name Alamuddin) was given the title Sunday night during Walters' annual ABC News special.

Amal wed the longtime Hollywood bachelor on Sept. 27, 2014, in Venice, Italy, during a celebration Walters called “perfect,” citing the bride's custom Oscar de la Renta gown and the wide-brimmed hat she wore while traveling via water taxi, according to ABC News.

Taylor Swift, Michael Strahan, Oprah Winfrey, George R.R. Martin, Chelsea Handler, Neil Patrick Harris, Scarlett Johansson, business magnate Elon Musk and philanthropist David Koch rounded out Walters' top 10 list.
