Amy Schumer says reality TV star Kim Kardashian and rapper husband Kanye West bear no hard feelings over the comedian's stunt Tuesday night at the Time 100 Gala in Manhattan, where Schumer fell down on the red carpet in front of them.

"I talked to them. They were like, 'What?' Kim was worried for me, and I think Kanye was just, like, scared that I was doing something," Schumer, 33, who was raised in Rockville Centre, told People magazine Wednesday. "They were really sweet. Kim was really funny," Schumer added. "She goes, 'Oh my god, I was like, does this girl need help?' She was like, 'That was really funny.' "

The star of Comedy Central's "Inside Amy Schumer" and of the upcoming Judd Apatow movie "Trainwreck" told the magazine, a sister publication of Time, that, "I saw them, and I asked my publicist, 'Can I dive in front of them and act like I fell?' And she said, 'I can't stop you.' "

Representatives for Kardashian and West did not respond to Newsday requests for comment.

Schumer -- who like Kardashian, 34, and West, 37, was among the 100 honorees -- told People, "I just dove right down." As to why, "They were right there! The epicenter of America. Gotta do it," Schumer said. "It was the best."

Schumer, who was born in Manhattan, later moved with her family to Long Island, where she graduated in 1999 from South Side High School in Rockville Centre. Comedy Central announced Tuesday that "Inside Amy Schumer," which also had its Season 3 premiere that night, would be renewed for a fourth season.
